Where Creative MInds are Free to Imagine

Summer composition camps are given as a complement to weekly piano lessons.

Adding composition to piano study helps the piano student tie the various aspects of music together.   They are not simply learning scales and cadences; they are manipulating them.  Learning to play the piano is enhanced when piano students acquire knowledge through active processes that engage them, like music composition.  It is a boost to their piano lessons.

Four age appropriate summer camps.

MIni-Camp - Preschool, 1st grade

Elementary Camp -  grades 1 - 5

Middle School - grades 6 - 8

My child loves coming to camp each day!

The pieces sound so good when they are completed.

I didn't think that I would be able to compose but during the camp I learned that it is not too difficult to compose your own piece.

Orff ensemble during Middle School Camp
